The CEO of HTC, Cher Wang has hinted that the Taiwanese tech giant is working on a high-end Smartphone, after the disastrous response to the flagship One M9.
Particularly in case of HTC, users have been a little dissatisfied by the way things are turning out for them and the way the updates to their devices are getting delayed.
HTC is planning something “brilliant’ on October. 20”.
Most of the Android smartphones these days are reeling from the so-called Stagefright bug.
Stagefright is a potentially devastating bug and many smartphone manufacturers and carriers have been working to fix it soon enough. Well the rumour mill would have us believe then firm is prepping to show off the HTC Aero/HTC One A9. The timing matches up well, given it was reported we would see the One A9 launch this November, however, nothing is ever confirmed until it is announced and official. Outside of the Nexus phones, it would be a scramble as to who would release the first Marshmallow phone, and it looks like HTC just might be it. Rogers is also planning to release a Stagefright fix for the Z30’s Android player.
Rumors for the HTC One A9 have circulated for months.
