HTC unveil the HTC One A9
With a slight camera bump on the back, a circular two-tone flash and even a couple antenna bands across the rounded back, the new flagship phone from HTC doesn’t shy away from the current design trend among top-of-the-line phones. Or just want to check whether it matches up to your iPhone or Galaxy S6? At the launch, HTC America President, Jason Mackenzie, promised that the unlocked HTC One A9 will receive every Android OS update within 15 days of the Nexus range.

The One A9 comes with an edge to edge 5-inch FHD 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass 4 which blends into the metal bezels.
HTC One A9 can now be preordered from its website at a special price of $399 for a limited time only, PC Mag reported.
HTC has made a big play of the fact that it has included Google’s new Android Marshmallow in the One A9. It packs in a 13MP rear snapper with optical image stabilisation and 1080p video recording along with a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera. On a positive note, the phone comes with a Quick Charge 2.0 and is compatible with Quick Charge 3.0. It is powered by a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor with integrated X8 LTE, and offers users a choice between a 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
Following the recent unveiling of the HTC One A9, one thing is painfully clear upon looking at the device – it looks uncannily like an iPhone 6. However, this iPhone doppelgänger is available for a fraction of its Apple twin’s cost. Both can support up to 2TB of removable storage thanks to a microSDXC card slot. Another welcome feature of the HTC One A9 is its Dolby Audio.
The HTC One A9 is also running Android 6.0 Marshmallow – one of the first non-Nexus devices to do so. HTC has updated this with a focus on camera capabilities, adding a “simplified” camera UI and the ability to process RAW image files on the handset itself.
According to an article by Christian Today, the One A9 Aero seems to show that the Taiwanese tech giant will cut the usual One M-Series and start a whole new line in the A-Series. O2 has already announced that it will carry the HTC One A9 – including a “Topaz Gold” edition that’s exclusive to the network – so you’ll be able to get it for less upfront with a pay monthly plan.
