Huawei and LG Nexus Renders Leaked Showing Potential Design

Just a day before we saw the renders that purportedly demonstrated the upcoming LG’s Nexus phone. To reward its loyal fans, Google has decided to partner with two Android OEMs to create the new Nexus phones. Although, most of the details are still classified as rumors, it does seem fair enough to assume that one is being made by LG and the other by Huawei. Now, the Mountain View-based giant announces new software early summer, makes it available for testing, and makes it available for the public in the fall, synchronized with the debut of new Nexus hardware.

Other specs on tap for Huawei’s smartphone include front-facing speakers, a fingerprint sensor (which will most definitely be used with the new Android Pay API) that is mounted on the back of the device and a reversible USB-C connector. Today it’s continuing to push that claim by producing a video that shows an alleged render of the Huawei Nexus, one day after a similar video showing the LG Nexus emerged.

We can confirm, however, that the Nexus 6’s dimensions come in at roughly 159.4mm high and 78.3mm wide (including side buttons).

For months we’ve been hearing rumors that Google will be releasing two Nexus smartphones in 2015, and over the past two days both have leaked on video.

There’s also a fingerprint sensor in the back colored to match – and be disguised within – the phone’s chassis.

The handset in the following set of images features a protruding camera on the back. “The device will feature a 5.2” HD display.

The renders also state that the bottom of the device would have a a reversible USB Type C port.

This Google-commissioned smartphone is said to feature Motorola-style front facing stereo speakers as well.

Historically, Google unveils its Nexus models handsets during the fall season so we wouldn’t have to wait for long to see the LG Nexus 5 2015 edition.
