Huawei brings P9 smartphone to India

Huawei has launched the much-awaited Huawei P9 with 3GB RAM and 3000mAh battery in Prestige Gold color variant at Rs. 39,999.

The smartphone has Leica’s dual-lens camera set up, ensuring more light and better clarity. The Huawei P9 plus is the next generation of Huawei P9.

As mentioned in the beginning, the rear camera offers a 12MP dual-camera system with sensor manufactured by Leica. You can also capture the images without using the shutter button. It measures just 7.3 mm thickness and weighs 160 grams.

The G9 Plus does not feature any capacitive touch buttons on the front. This notebook has 12 inch IPS LCD screen with resolution of 2160×1440 and comes in full metal aluminium body.

Huawei P9: Huawei P9 was first announced in China in April, and this is the first in the world to feature Leica branded dual rear cameras. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The unit also runs smoothly with 4GB of RAM and at least 32GB of internal storage. As for price, the 3GB RAM variant carries a tag of RMB 2,399 (around $360). Out of the 32GB, around 25GB is user available space. Indian customers can now buy the Huawei P9 exclusively on domestic e-commerce platform Flipkart starting August 18.

There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back. Working together these two sensors deliver images that take care of both aspects. Video quality is decent as well, but the ability to shoot 4K video is sorely missed. The pixel size on the sensors is 1.25 micron.

The device sports a 3000 mAh battery and is 4G VoLTE enabled.

The new flagship from Huawei comes in three stunning colors – Sapphire Blue, Pearl White and Midnight Black. In terms of connectivity you get a single nano SIM card slot. Huawei P9 plus have an FHD display which has a great viewing experience from any angle.
