Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet boasts surround sound
The 8-inch version of the Huawei MediaPad M2 dropped last summer, but it appears the company isn’t done with the slate yet. It also sports a 10-inch 1920×1200 IPS LCD display, 2GHz Kirin 930 octa-core processor, 2GB or 3GB RAM depending on the model, 16GB or 64GB storage depending on the model, microSD slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 6660mAh battery, and a body that is just 7.35mm thick. The MediaPad M2 will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop. That one also comes with a stylus, but both have a solid audio setup with four speakers, Clari-fi Audio Restoration, and SWS 2.0 surround sound.

It’s going to launch in China in the first quarter of 2016, and exact price and launch dates will be revealed closer to availability in the US.
Huawei partners with Harmon/Kardon for a new tablet.
Jörgen Lantto, CEO of FPC, comments: “Huawei is a leading global OEM and we are proud that Huawei selected FPC1155 for MediaPad M2, its first tablet integrating a touch fingerprint sensor, following the successful launch of 10 smartphones with FPC touch fingerprint sensors”. If that’s not enough, the audio components of this device have been tuned by Harman Kardon.
The MediaPad M2 is also ideal for artists and those who like to take notes because its compatible with Huawei’s proprietary stylus, aka the M-Pen.
The Wi-Fi edition of the Huawei MediaPad M2 10 will be available in sometime in Q1 of this year.
It will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE-enabled versions, costing $350 and $400 respectively for the silver edition (with the lower RAM and storage totals). Huawei’s initial announcement for the phone happened in the Fall of 2015 but this marks the first time USA consumers will get the chance to buy the phone directly inside of the region.

Huawei was tipped to make it big in 2016 so we’re expecting that the Chinese OEM will impress the CES goers.
