Huawei Nexus gets benchmarked with Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM

The smaller device is manufactured by LG while the larger one by Huawei. Stemming from two separate sources – GeekBench and GFXBench – the hardware details give anxious Android fans a better idea of the performance that Huawei’s long-rumored first phone in the Nexus family will bring. However, we have just stumbled upon the latest benchmarking leak of the smartphone, which states that it has one crucial feature not present in any device as yet.

According to them, the device packs an eight-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.55GHz (likely the Snapdragon 810), 3GB of RAM, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In a new report, MyDrivers claims that it obtained a new Geekbench results featuring a comparison of the Motorola Nexus 6 and a device called Nexus Angler that everyone assumes is the Huawei Nexus 6 2015. We should be seeing more solid details about this new Nexus smartphone soon.

“Other specs haven’t surfaced this time around, but past rumors talked about the Huawei Nexus having either a 5.5″ or a 5.7” screen, with either 1080p or QHD resolution.

Another piece of information that we got from the benchmark’s database is the fact that Huawei Nexus 6, just like LG Nexus 5X, will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. The rear could house a 13-megapixel camera, while the front-facing shooter should snap 8-megapixel selfies. The LG Nexus 5X is expected to be priced around $349 to $449. The Chinese vendor has made a concerted effort to offer more high-end smartphones in its lineup, like the recently-launched Huawei Mate S, with an eye toward the United States market. If you’ve been living under a rock these past few months, you would not have heard the rumors that Google is partnering with the China-based outfit to come out with a 2015 version of the Nexus 6 smartphone.
