Huawei debuted the Huawei nova and the Huawei nova plus, the first smartphones in a new series the company is launching, featuring a multi-curve design, camera advances for more vivid photography and performance updates for enhanced usability.

Except for a few contrasts, Huawei has made both the devices bonded firmly with their spec linings.

Huawei nova promises an outstanding photography experience with speed, depth and clarity and the 12MP rear camera delivers fantastic photography even in low-light. Both the devices pack Full HD resolution despite the variation in screen sizes. 6 LTE support and there is USB Type-C port as well, and the Nova comes packed with a 3020 mAh battery. Both the Huawei Nova, and Huawei Nova Plus are placed in the mid-range status, so they won’t be providing any competition to the likes of Samsung Galaxy S7 or iPhone 6s.

They share the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset that houses an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, which is backed by 3GB of RAM and have an internal memory of 32GB, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The Huawei Nova plus has a 2.5D glass with a curved metal unibody like the Nova but sports an entirely different rear design. The smartphone series would be available for purchase in over 50 countries, starting from October.

Huawei has accustomed its fans with high-end devices, and now it’s trying to conquer their hearts with budget-friendly smartphones that have interesting features.

The other differences here include the rear camera, which is a 16-megapixel sensor supported by Optical Image Stabilization, and a 4000 mAh battery is also packed into the device.

The only disappointing fact is that the Nova series, despite being loaded with top-notch features, will only be coming out with the Android Marshmallow OS on-board, and not the Nougat version of Android. Finally, as with the pricing of the device, the Nova will come out with a price tag of 399 euro (~ $445), while its bigger sibling will arrive at 429 euro ($479).
