Huawei is now riding high on success. Since the stock-Android phone, Huawei also introduced its new Huawei Mate S and Mate 8 last Fall.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei had said that it was planning to launch its upcoming flagship device Huawei P9 in Q2 2016. The handset is the follow-up to the Huawei P8, a successful endeavor into budget-friendly flagship territory.
If the rumors and leaks are taken into account, the Huawei P9 will feature a dual camera on the rear side, while it will also have a fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone. Its main cameras are rumored to have 12 MP sensors with Leica lenses.
Earlier this month, Huawei had send out what looked like an invitation for an event to be held on the 9th of March in Berlin, Germany.
We received official confirmation that the Huawei P9 was coming this year towards the end of February. Other specs include Mali-T880 graphics and powerful 3,900mAh battery. While the P9 Max is expected to be priced around $630, the P9 Enhanced will have a price tag of about $565. Like the Huawei P8 Lite, the Huawei P9 Lite will be the mid-range option, sporting the same display, but a Snapdragon 650 CPU instead of the Kirin 950.
The standard model will sport a 5.2-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory. Further, The Huawei P9 Enhanced model is rumored to have a 6.2-inch screen while a Kirin 955 chip is expected to be featured under its hood. Hence the Huawei P9 (premium version) price will probably also be around the $500-550 mark making it about $100-50 lesser than the recently unveiled Galaxy S7.

However, since everything is still in the rumor mill, fans are advised to take this with a pinch of salt, and consider it as a mere speculation until proven otherwise.
