There are enough hazards on a golf course as it is, let alone having to contend with a giant alligator roaming the course.

ABC Action News reports that it was Charles Helms who filmed the animal moving around the golf course.

“I didn’t know if we were being punked or something”, says Helms. The Daily Mail reported previous year on the Stokes family, who captured a 15-foot, nine-inch gator in 2014.

He filmed the alligator, estimated at 15ft, heading towards a lake.

If you’re wondering how big this most recent Florida gator might be, look no further than an Alabama gator that set records a while back.

“He has been here for a very, very long time; he’s not new at all”, said Wendy Schofield, a clerk at the golf course’s pro shop. “There have been guesses on his length. that he’s 15 to 16 feet long”.
