Huge fire in northern New Jersey causes evacuations
The warehouse is at 1600 Livingston Avenue, near the ramp to Route 1 north, according to police. A North Brunswick police officer said this warehouse is as big as 50 football fields.

A large plume of smoke could be seen from at least 20 miles away, billowing east over nearby neighborhoods. The fire has burned through the roof. WABC An apartment complex close to the fire was evacuated.
The building is used by the dealership to store cars which is helping to fuel the flames.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Route 26 is closed in both directions at Route 1 due to serious fire.

The fire is also impacting mass transit in the area – the warehouse is located right next to the New Jersey Transit North-East Corridor tracks. Keep checking abc7NY for updates.
