Hugh Grant’s Favorite Movie Is a Hugh Grant Movie
In the new British-French dramedy film “Florence Foster Jenkins”, Grant plays a character that has a mistress, and the actor admitted to Stern that he “likes” it.

“And you never boast about it or say anything and that’s what keeps them together”.
The 55-year-old was very honest about his views of the foundation of marriage, branding it “unromantic” and sharing that he doesn’t think human beings are truly meant to be faithful to just one person. “Only the bible or something, no one ever said that was a good idea”.
“I think there’s something unromantic about marriage”, Hugh concluded. Since then Grant has never married, but he has welcomed four children over the course four years – two with Tinglan Hong and two with Anna Eberstein. I said, “Well, you’re obviously brilliantly talented”. Guess it’s true that the more of a show you make of your love on the outside, the more things are falling apart within.
During the interview, the “Bridget Jones” star also revealed that he turned down the lead role in “Two and a Half Men” after Charlie Sheen’s exit from the show. “I said, ‘Well, it’s very hard for me to consider this without a script.’ And they said, ‘Trust us!”

The former couple still maintain a strong friendship and bond, which the Royals actress, 51, opened up about during a February 2016 interview on the United Kingdom morning show Lorraine: “He’s still my best friend, and he’s very important to me”. He probably knows it is, but it’s rude to say that to my face while I’m craving a hot pork injection. “But I said, ‘I’m too scared to sign up without a script'”. Reports emerged that Hugh Grant was in the running to succeed the sitcom star, but Ashton Kutcher ultimately scored the role.
“So, it’s hard to judge”, Grant concluded. “I had no idea how much TV was worth here”.

“Florence Foster Jenkins”, which also stars Meryl Streep, Simon Helberg, Rebecca Ferguson and Nina Arianda, opens in US theaters on Friday, Aug. 12.
