Hugh Grant says affairs the secret to a happy marriage
Thus, Grant took it upon himself to catch one of the reporters, wearing a spy pen with a microphone to record a conversation, which he then released and transcribed for a magazine to reveal what media outlets were doing to obtain information.

During an appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on Wednesday, the Notting Hill star said, “They talked to me about it, but the problem was they didn’t have a script or a new character”.
“I can see the lovely aspect if you marry exactly the right person – your best friend and it’s cozy and it’s lovely”.
“I did [watch]. It was still a very good show, but what they created for Ashton Kutcher was clearly something completely different than what they would have created for me”, he said.
Hugh – who has dated a long list of lovely women including Elizabeth Hurley and Jemima Khan – claimed marriage is in fact “unromantic” and involves “closing yourself off”.
Hugh Grant believes affairs are the key to a lasting marriage. “They take them extremely seriously, but it is understood that there might be other visitors at 5 o’clock in the afternoon”, he told Stern.
Grant is now with girlfriend Anna Eberstein (above), who he has been dating on and off for over four years and has a son and daughter with, but has no plans to tie the knot.
Grant starts off by saying how he used to boast about – while he may not be the greatest actor in the world – he was great as choosing material and never turned down a film that went on to be a big success. “They never say anything, but that’s what keeps marriages together”. You can listen to the clip below and try to figure it out for yourself.
Grant, who has never been married, went on to explain why the idea of settling down with someone permanently doesn’t sit well with him.
“For a few years, I thought I was putting show business behind me, he said”. It changes your life.’ Now that I have one, it is life-changing. “I saved myself an absolute fortune”.

Hugh Grant simply feels that marriage can be “unromantic”. “I recommend it. Get some!” Grant recently appeared on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show to discuss his new film “Florence Foster Jenkins”, but like many of Stern’s interviews, the questions became very personal.
