Hugh Jackman Thinks Tom Hardy Should Be X-Mens Next Wolverine

After a bit of thought on who could play a younger, re-imagined Wolverine, Jackman made his choice. Patrick does figure in it that’s for sure.

Jackman said: “I haven’t really given it a lot of thought”. He’s really not cool.

Thanks to the success of Fury Road, genre fans seem to be considering Hardy for just about everything these days, but it’s particularly interesting that Jackman was willing to drop his name. Because of that, he is unsure when the film will actually get started. It is my last time. Though, he is ramping up his workout routine and diet to return to Logan’s impossible – and really painful looking – sinewy form with the intent of starting production next year.

Jackman is nearly done, though, and after he makes the sequel to The Wolverine, he’ll be hanging up the claws, but Fox likely won’t be hanging up the character.

“He’s younger than me for sure”, Jackman, 46, says of the 38-year-old he’d like to see replace him.

Hugh Jackman has been talking about his exit as one of the X-Men’s most iconic superheroes. “Yeah. No. Maybe” and then finally he said, ‘Look, can you just not ask me anymore questions?

“I’m trying to do something with this that is a little special, a little different”. Jackman does mention he is now in training and dieting for the role, and if everything goes right, they should start shooting next year. And I won’t let it fall anywhere in between. I won’t fall short of it. I feel that I’m pushing harder than I’ve ever pushed before. Or do you have ideas of your own?
