Wrestling stars Mick Foley, who wrestled under a number of personas, and Glenn Gilbertti, who wrestled as “Disco Fever”, both tweeted support for Hogan. Houston explained that Hogan resigned from the WWE to protect his family from the controversy.

Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, posted a lengthy poem and photo collage of her and her father on Facebook. “You know, maybe this would be an easy way to fix things.’ “. That lawsuit is still ongoing.

“It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it”, Hogan said, calling his departure from a WWE a resignation.

I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.

But he was able to transcend his “Hulkamania” fan base to become a celebrity outside the wrestling world, appearing in numerous movies and television shows, including a reality show about his life on VH1, “Hogan Knows Best”.

Hogan admitted that it was unacceptable to have used that word and that it is inexcusable.

Also they have officially removed Hulk Hogan from the rooster of the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game. “WWE is committed to embracing & celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide”.

The WWE, where Hogan achieved the bulk of his success throughout the 1980s and 1990s and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, has removed all references to Hogan from its website and announced he is no longer with the company.

Hogan was sensationally fired from WWE after the nasty rant, in which he used racist language, was made public.

“We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly”.
