Hull midfielder Mohamed Diame admitted his play-off final victor in Saturday’s Wembley showpiece was the most important goal of his career so far.

Steve Bruce wants Hull to model themselves on Swansea, West Brom and Bournemouth after sealing their instant return to the Premier League, even though his future at the club remains uncertain.
It will help that Hull’s bank balance will be boosted by the £110m windfall they will earn due to the Premier League’s new television contracts.
“Sheffield Wednesday could see a revenue uplift of £170m if they secure promotion”, George Parrett of financial analysts Deloitte told Reuters.
Hull manager Steve Bruce hailed 28-year-old as a big payer who stepped up when team needed him most. “Up until then, I thought we’d missed some glorious chances but Mo has produced that little bit of magic”.
The Tigers began to dominate as the half went on and had some excellent chances to open the scoring.
For Hull City, the goalkeeper position is the one to watch. We expect they will turn up on the day.
Hull finished nine points ahead of Wednesday in the second-tier table and were making their third trip to Wembley in the last two years, while their Yorkshire rivals were appearing at the national stadium for the first time since the 1993 FA Cup final.
The Tigers were now on top and Mo Diame saw his effort crash against the post with Westwood beaten.
The opening stages of the match remained balanced, but Wednesday were arguably the quicker of the two sides to settle and managed to fire in two shots on goal through Fernando Forestieri and Ross Wallace. Moses Odubajo timed his run to perfection to spring the offside trap, but could not find a way past Westwood, who got down low to deny the winger.
There was no let-up from Hull after the interval.
They were soon back under pressure, and were again grateful to Westwood when he blocked Dawson’s effort after the Owls had failed to defend a corner.
Andrew Robertson was the latest Hull player to fluff his lines when picked out unmarked by Odubajo just a few yards from goal, getting under the ball and blasting high into the stands. I’m delighted for our supporters who have followed us all over week after week after week this season, I’m sure they’re heading home delighted.

They had a late handball shout turned down when Jeremy Helan’s stoppage-time shot appeared to be blocked by Michael Dawson’s arms.
