This means a few of Nickelodeon’s classic shows from the 1990’s like “Rugrats” and “Doug” will make its streaming debut on Hulu.

Hulu has doubled the amount of content it is licensing from Viacom, with an expanded pact giving the Internet TV service exclusive subscription VOD rights to all past and future seasons of Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer” and “Key and Peele“, along with other shows.

“SANTA MONICA, CA (October 06, 2015) – Hulu and Viacom today announced a renewal and expansion of their content partnership that grants Hulu the exclusive subscription video on-demand rights to selected top-rated series from Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV”.

Viacom has released plans for a new 88,000-square-foot studio in Miami, meant to serve as a multiplatform production hub for global entertainment brands such as Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central.

The original deal was signed in 2011, and brought episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report to Hulu. These join Nickelodeon library series including Ren & Stimpy, The Wild Thornberrys, Drake & Josh, Hey Arnold!, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Danny Phantom and others, which will remain on Hulu.

“Hulu has been a great partner for Viacom for many years”, Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman said in a statement.

It also comes about a month after Hulu poached from Netflix rights to programming from premium network Epix, which is co-owned by Viacom’s Paramount Pictures unit, along with Lionsgate and MGM. “We also value the promotional and marketing support they provide for our brands and shows”. This means that even though Trevor Noah is the new host, viewers will still be able to watch new “Daily Show” episodes the next day on the service.
