Abedin, who is expected to play a major behind-the scenes role if her boss is elected president, announced Monday she was separating from her husband, Anthony Weiner, after the former NY congressman was accused of sending lewd photographs and messages to yet another woman.
The couple’s son Jordan was born in December 2011.
Ms Abedin’s announcement comes after a report emerged that he had allegedly exchanged sexual photos with a woman.

In one message, Mr Weiner abruptly changed the discussion from massage parlours and reportedly wrote, “Someone just climbed into my bed”.
