Humble Bundle launches monthly subscription service
Aptly names the Humble Monthly, the twist is that you can subscribe or cancel your subscription any time you want, but all games you receive under the subscription are yours to keep, forever.

Those who sign up before the first content release on November 6 will instantly unlock Legend of Grimrock 2.
The Humble Bundle website may look like any other digital video game’ reseller, but it’s not: when you buy any of its weekly game bundles, you also donate to charity. Humble are also promising games that haven’t been featured in other bundles, including “everything from recent hits to hidden gems to timeless classics”. It’s unclear what the breakdown will be between Humble’s cut and that of developers; Humble Bundles typically allow you to decide the amount split between the two.
Rocking up today is the Humble Monthly Bundle, where you agree to pay $12 a month indefinitely in return for receiving “a highly curated bundle” of games.
There are several types of bundles on offer: the original “Humble Bundle” which comes out every week, one for books and even one for mobile games.
Five percent of proceeds will go to charity.

It’s only offered on PC right now, and the service will cost $12 (R167) per month with 5% automatically going to whichever charity the bundle supports. No way to tell if you already have the games that they think you shouldn’t miss out on, perhaps during a Steam sale for even less money? But, in doing so, it does all the legwork for you and you may end up with games that have no appeal to you. The Humble Bundle service has clued into this as well and is now prepared to offer a monthly subscription service called Humble Monthly.
