Hundreds Line Up For Toys For Tots Distribution
With the big day here Toys for Tots volunteers prepared for hundreds to come through their doors.

“There’s no mountain we won’t climb to make sure that every kid has a Christmas”, says Sgt. Lange. “And then I get the phone call”.

“It puts a good warm feeling in my heart that people will still bear the weather to come donate toys to us”, said SSgt. This year, his raffle exploded and raised $10,000 in just 24 hours.
The gifts collected during the WPRI-12 “Toys for Tots” annual drive will go to forty-thousand kids in the Rhode Island area.
The age groups most in need for items in the Toys for Tots campaign are toys for kids who are three years old and younger and teens. As bag after bag arrived, the room lit up.
“Words can’t describe it, really”, said Keith Datson.
Toys for Tots has teamed up with the Chiefs for the last fifty years.
Children and families from throughout the Central Coast were able to get an up-close look at several types of aircraft Saturday while also helping a local cause. Coulter said he wanted to give back after escaping the south tower of the World Trade Center minutes before it was attacked on 9/11.
