Hundreds of men in India cut off their testicles to come closer to the god.

According to the report, around 400 followers cut off their testicles in the year 2000 to come closer.

All these people were followers of the famous Indian preacher, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is also head of the socio-spiritual organisation Dera Sacha Sauda and also recently appeared in the Bollywood film called Messenger of God (MSG).

But the people were not saying anything in these years and they are now coming up and revealing the truth.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, he was charged with conspiracy involving the murder of an investigative journalist in 2002 and several female followers claim he sexually assaulted them but he has never been convicted.
