Hundreds of protesters greet Donald Trump in San Jose
“Donald Trump supporter Debbie Tracey, a U.S. Navy veteran from San Jose, California, came to hear the tycoon speak on Thursday, and left his rally with two hats a T-shirt and a handful of signs that said Veterans for Trump”. “She doesn’t want to go to jail that’s why folks”, Trump said.

The billionaire candidate on Thursday attacked Clinton, calling her policies “pathetic”.
“We’re gonna build a wall, and you know who’s gonna pay for it?” Don’t even think about it. Trump asked as the crowd shouted back, “Mexico”.
Trump then touched on Bill Clinton’s “mistakes” as president.
“We don’t say Lyin’ Ted [Cruz] anymore. Which never happens”, Trump said. “She’s a bad person”, he said.
He also mentioned he’d take care of veterans’ health care.
Trump reassured the crowd that he will protect Second Amendment rights.
“It’s frightful what’s happening to our veterans”, Trump said. It’s not only supporters attending the inside of the rally.
As Trump stepped down from the podium, he said, “We’re going to make our country great again …”
A San Jose police sergeant also alerted neighbors around the convention center on Wednesday that Trump and presumptive protestors would generate a high volume of activity.
The protests were mostly peaceful and reached around 500 people at its peak, but police had to block streets, enforce crowd control and had to call in other agencies. “She’s making another (speech) tomorrow and they sent me a copy”. She was cornered and egged immediately. Hotel staff at first blocked the door to the hotel, refusing to let anyone in, but later allowed the woman to enter the lobby.
As the demonstrators bunched around the event, riot police pushed many of them back. Some people on both sides tried to intervene and keep the tensions from escalating. Trump hats grabbed from supporters were set on fire on the ground. “That’s all I ever said to him”.
Andrew Acevedo, of Redwood City said he was assaulted several times while getting stuck inside the anti-Trump protest rally.
Many told KTVU before clashes broke out that they were trying to express their outrage and anger in a peaceful way.
“This is a president who doesn’t have a clue”, Trump said. “He sees us as criminals and we are not criminals we are strong hardworking individuals, you know”.
The protesters spilled into the nearby streets, with some standing on cars.
