The film that Fangoria credits with not sacrificing its shocks “in the service of the PG-13 rating”, earned a surprisingly positive 3 out of 4 skulls from the horror magazine devoted to gore and shocks. Creed saw its second weekend this week and has pooled in $70 million worldwide. That is a very solid 48% drop, better than the 54% for the other boxing drama this year in Southpaw. Its domestic 12-day total sits at $65.1 million. The movie has reached $121 million, but it will be unable to reach the $150 million plateau. Creed only fell 48% from last weekend, whereas The Good Dinosaur fell 61%. Although Pixar’s latest film was expected to challenge Mockingjay for first place this weekend, it actually ended up in fourth. And it’s worth noting that The Good Dinosaur didn’t open almost as well as Cars II. Globally, Spectre has raked in more than $792 million. “Krampus, ” $16.0 million ($3.3 million international).3. The CGI-animated adaptation of the comic strip characters has now grossed $121.4 million domestically and $134.7 million worldwide. The budget was $99 million. This also shows how Part 2 continues to lag against Part 1 and begs the question as to whether Part 2 will make it to $300 million.

Silent Night, Deadly Night easily made its money back, but still only scared up north of $2 million in box office ($6 million adjusted for inflation). Its running tally has reached $184 million putting it in 10 place for the year overall. Fall In Love Like A Star – Multiple – US$11.1 million 10.

Overseas, Good Dinosaur earned $19.4-M from 45 markets for an early foreign take of $55.4-M.

Still, domestic revenue was up sharply, or 27 percent, from the same weekend a year ago.

Starring Adam Scott and Toni Collette, the film grossed an estimated $16 million in ticket sales in the USA and Canada for its premiere, beating analyst expectations. Mockingjay Part 2 earned $18.6 million off a nasty 64%, but really on par with other post-turkey frames.
