A truck was seen leaving the area when police performed a high-risk takedown and arrested two men, but not their main suspect.
The caller said she saw a bullet hole in her neighbour’s home, which police investigated when they got to the scene.
Officers believe an armed gunman wearing camouflage fired the shots early Wednesday morning and are asking residents who live in an area bordered by Riverside Drive East, Raymo Road, South National Street and Jos.
Drouillard said Wallace is known to police.
Police in Windsor, Ont. say a suspected shooter has been apprehended following an hours-long manhunt. A photo of Wallace was released by around 7 am. “And they learned from the complainant of who the suspect possibly was and that he was heading to another residence”. Caesars Windsor said it wasn’t impacted by the lockdown order.
Residents are still being asked to stay in their houses for the time being.
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board says Brennan and Corpus Christi remain closed for the day. Not long after, officials said he’d been brought into custody.
Richard Wallace, 29, faces weapons related charges.
