Hurricane season was everything we expected it to be
Overall, the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season ended with 11 named storms, four of which became hurricanes and two of which became major hurricanes. Sandra was centered about 185 miles southwest of Las Islas Marias, Mexico, and is moving north-northeast near 12 miles per hour.

The last day of November is also the last day of the Atlantic hurricane season. A tropical storm watch is in effect for the Baja California peninsula from Todos Santos to Los Barriles.
