Hypothermia, drowning to blame for Down East Maine deaths
Autopsies were performed Monday on 58-year-old Roy Carlile and 53-year-old Judith Carlile of Warrington, Pennsylvania, who were wearing life jackets when their bodies were found Saturday and Sunday. The United States Coast Guard says, the bodies of 58 year old, Roy Carlile and his 53 year old wife, Judith, were discovered by a fisherman in Maine’s Chandler bay.

Judith Carlile’s body was recovered by a U.S. Coast Guard crew at 5:30 a.m. Sunday near Roque Island. Authorities said the first report of the body came from a lobsterman.
Their 13-foot-long green canoe has not been found. According to Marine Patrol, the two own a cabin in Jonesport. A cooler believed to have been taken out in the canoe by the two people was found floating about a mile and half further north in the bay that afternoon, he said.
The Coast Guard has a 47-foot boat on the scene and will continue searching overnight.
