Hyundai launches SUV Creta priced at Rs 8.59 lakh
Managing director and chief executive of Hyundai India B.S. Seo said the Indian domestic market is the company’s top priority even as it wants to maintain its leadership position in exports.

With the Hyundai Creta launched, its competitors have something to worry about now. As a reminder, the Elite i20 hatchback had received 10,000 bookings in the first 20 days of its launch. The 1.4-litre Creta will be priced between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 11.5 lakh while the range topping 1.6-litre Creta will be priced from Rs 11.9 lakh to Rs 14.1 lakh, according to Zigwheels.
The 1.6 litre diesel automatic trim is priced at Rs 13.57 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
The SUV will herald a new chapter in Hyundai Motor India’s success story and will set a new benchmark in the SUV segment of India with its unmatched capabilities, he added.
The company has invested Rs 1,000 crore on the development of Creta, which has been designed and developed in Korea.
