Touted as a gender-bender-thanks to stills featuring Kareena trying a mangalsutra around Arjun’s neck released before the trailer-indeed, the movie does look promising.
The 35-year-old actor’s next film is R Balki’s Ki and Ka, and this is the first time she has worked with the acclaimed filmmaker.
Talking about the unusual pairing with Arjun, she said: “The typical pairing never works, but the odd pairing works because there is something about it which is very organic”. She added further, “He once chose to make pasta for me and ended up cooking for 12 hours”.
According to the reports, Kareena had made a promise to her husband that she won’t act in any of the kissing scenes in the films, after her marriage happened in 2012.
Needless to say, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor look amazingly hot in Ki & Ka posters. “There is nothing “hatke” about a man being a homemaker”. “I am glad because this appreciation is coming from such a great actor”. While Arjun is a progressive house husband who lovingly supports his wife’s ambitions, Kareena, on the other hand, is a super ambitious career woman. Even though the first trailer didn’t give us any glimpse of the role that Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan would be playing in the movie, it does manage to raise the curiosity levels to some extent.

After “2 States”, this one is his next film in which Arjun plays a delicate character. You will be seeing the equality of genders in the movie within a new way. I work really poorly with directors that are bad and work best with unbelievable directors.
