‘I got drunk!’: Jennifer Lawrence had too much to drink

The New York Daily News wrote: “People who crave a movie about a secret agent with her own sexual agency – and a mission to give male predators exactly what they deserve – are going to want front-row seats”. “I discovered this Viennese kielbasa sausage in an uncircumcised French-bread roll with pickle relish”, she said.

“No, he was never inappropriate with me”, Lawrence said.

Red Sparrow is the film you turn on around midnight, watch 15-20 minutes of, fall asleep, and forget about by the time you wake up the next morning. I lean more towards speechless in a what-the-heck-just-happened-I’m-so-confused way.

Jennifer Lawrence has said she doesn’t like to get too political, but the actress made a decision to weigh in on the gun debate anyway when asked about on-screen violence at the premiere of “Red Sparrow”. Reuniting in Red Sparrow with her Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence (no relation), JLaw, complete with trippy Russian accent, is the best reason to see this puerile piece of pulpy fiction as she genuinely rises above the material in a true star turn, nearly a page out of Hollywood’s past.

But Lawrence said she was used to it: “Everybody does, but I’m very lucky and happy!” she laughed.

Jennifer Lawrence offered a frank take on her Red Sparrow “haters” on The Late Show Monday, but only after taking a few shots of rum with Stephen Colbert.

Jennifer Lawrence watches Disney movies to calm her nerves on flights, after her plane was forced to make an emergency landing a year ago. “So I go to this high school to talk to kids about, you know, the government and super PACs and blah blah blah”. That impassive face, says much more than you would expect and her physical agonies mean you buy into her character even more. “I don’t know, that is where this stuff gets tricky”.

Lawrence previously told the Hollywood Reporter that she would call Weinstein out on set when he was being “an a-hole”, but that they would move on immediately.

“My Vanity Fair cover comes out soon, and I will go to sleep with a pit in my stomach every single night until it comes out”. It was more just about me learning to use my body differently and also get into the mind of the discipline that these dancers have to go through.
