I have not said anything that I should apologise for: Shahrukh Khan
“It’s all mathematics, how many theaters we are running in we will get the collections according to that”. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest outing Bajirao Mastani gave tough competition for the movie which released on the same day.

The business for both films was affected due to protests against their shows in various parts in India.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale grossed Rs 65.09 crore while Ranveer Singh starrer Bajirao Mastani grossed Rs 46.77 crore at the domestic box office. While SRK-Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale’ raked 10.09 crore, the Ranveer-Deepika-Priyanka starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’ collected 10.25 crore on Monday. With this business figure, it has also registered the third highest opening weekend collection of the year after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo & Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles, Rohit Shetty’s action comedy crossed 100 crores (1 billion rupees, Dh55.3m) worldwide during its opening weekend.
SRK, Salman and Kajol appeared together at the red carpet of Stardust Awards 2015 held in Mumbai on Monday.
On the opening day, Dilwale earned Rs21 crore within India, while Bajirao Mastani made Rs12.
Claiming that “Dilwale” had a whooping box office return in the last week, with the film topping in Bengal territory, the actor asked, “Why stopping a film meant to spread happiness”.
About the response to the film, he said: “There is a feeling of delight, we want it to do better, that families come to the theatres without any hesitation”.

The overseas collections of the movie in these three days are Rs. 56.38 cr, taking the total number to Rs. 121.47 cr. I’ve been reading messages on social media, and even on ground that there has been activity all over the country, where the film has been stopped, and not allowed.
