Why this is would seem to be, according to ScreenRant, is a mysterious connection Wonder Woman has with the film’s villain. It will be followed in 2017 on November 17 with the highly-anticipated Justice League movie.

Refinery29 also detailed one of the film’s product tie-ins is with protein bar brand ThinkThin.
Afterward, Doctor Poison disappeared until 1999’s Wonder Woman #151, when her granddaughter takes up the mantle.

But for fans, the seemingly lack of exposure is still bothersome for them.

Marketing ploys (or lack of) aside, the success of the film will still depend on who will support it. “I, as a woman, want Wonder Woman to be hot as hell, fight badass, and look great at the same time-the same way men want Superman to have huge pecs and an impractically big body”. I made it very clear that I needed to have some oxygen going through my body to shoot the movie.
