I’ll Only Lose Pennsylvania If There Is ‘Cheating’

Donald Trump continued to hammer home his suggestion that there will likely be Election Day shenanigans – saying during a rally in Altoona, Pa. Friday evening that the only way Hillary Clinton will win the state is if there is “cheating” during the voting process.

“I hope you people can sort of not just vote on the 8th [of November], but go around and look and watch other polling places and make sure it’s 100 percent fine”, he told the crowd.

Trump went on to say that “the only way” he can lose in Pennsylvania is if there is cheating.

“Because if you do that … we’re not going to lose”, Trump said.

According to CNN, Trump said that Republican leaders in Pennsylvania are very concerned about the possibility of cheating.

This week, multiple polls showed Clinton with double digit leads over Trump in Pennsylvania.

Trump’s comments Friday echoed – but went even further than – his statements last week in OH that he’s “afraid the election is going to be rigged”.

The comment came shortly after Trump criticized Pennsylvania for failing to reintroduce voter ID restrictions after a state judge struck down an existing law in January 2014. After trouncing 16 challengers in the Republican primary, Trump is encountering worrying signs as his campaign moves into the general election.

“I would’ve said it in a different way”. He didn’t seem to want to tell Burnett if he thought Trump’s claims went too far. “They are the lowest form of humanity”.
