I’m no Federer, says Rafael Nadal
Kei Nishikori is a tennis player of great qualitative appeal, who has established himself, since a couple of years, firmly in the top-10 of the ATP rankings.

To date, Nadal sits beside Pete Sampras with 14 grand slam titles and 2nd to Federer’s 17 championships.
“I’m really excited to be playing here”, said Mr. Nadal, who missed the maiden season past year because of appendicitis. I’m happy to be here today. “I’m happy to support the children there, they get to learn English, Mathematics, Informatics; we’ve also built some tennis courts there, and it feels good to support the children”.
Huey and Williams have played in two mixed doubles matches for the Philippine Mavericks since the IPTL began last week, including the first day of the Manila leg last Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena where they lost 6-5 to Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic of the UAE Royals.
Even as he nears 30, Nadal rejected suggestions it might be time to adjust his playing style, maybe in the mould of his great rival Roger Federer, to make him last longer in the tour. I for sure try to improve many things during all my career and for sure I’m working hard to be a better player.
Uber has now teamed up with the premier IPTL team and is offering up an opportunity for fans to meet their favorite stars including Rafael Nadal, Sania Mirza, Fabrice Santoro, Ivan Dodig, Rohan Bopanna and Agnieszka Radwańska.
“We hope to help them improve as a tennis player, our help is what these kids need to become a better tennis player”, Nadal said.
Raonic’s steady performance allowed the Philippine Mavericks to break the 19-all tie heading into the final set and slip past the Micromax Indian Aces, 25-24.
The IPTL, which started on December 2 in Kobe, Japan, will now move to New Delhi for the third leg starting December 10.

It is the first defeat of the leading Aces in the entire tournament while the Mavericks managed to sweep all three of their matches and finished undefeated in their homecourt.
