I ‘should get credit, not be scorned’ for tone of events
Authorities have said John Franklin McGraw of Linden, N.C., was charged after he was caught on video hitting a man deputies were escorting at a Trump rally last Wednesday in Fayetteville.

Rubio addressed the “outrageous” things Trump said, adding that “I think the media’s responsible for some of this”, and reiterating his claims about the “professional industry of protesters in Chicago” before saying that Trump “on a regular basis, incites his crowds”. Former Broward GOP chair Richard DeNapoli is expected to introduce Trump.
Trump was speaking at the rally when he was briefly surrounded by Secret Service agents, who formed a protective barrier around him.
In minor nominating contests on Saturday, Clinton won the Northern Mariana Islands and Republican Cruz won Guam, according to television networks. Trump said tension at his rallies came from people being “sick and tired” of American leadership that has cost them jobs through trade deals, failed to defeat Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, and treated military veterans poorly.
He accused Bernie Sanders supporters of trying to shut down his rallies, and issued a warning Sunday on Twitter: “Be careful Bernie, or my supporters will go to yours!”
He leads the Republican polls in four of the five states, trailing only in OH to the governor of Ohio. “I understand-and I don’t condone violence and I don’t condone what happened to him and what he did because he got carried away and it’s very unfortunate”, he said.
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says Republican Donald Trump is lying when he says the Sanders’ campaign sent the protesters that disrupted Trump’s rally in Chicago. “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him”.
Sanders, a US senator from Vermont, shot back during his own talk show interviews Sunday, insisting that his campaign has never organized an effort to disrupt Trump’s rallies.
Addressing the massive rally in Dayton, Trump slammed all those who said that he should take responsibility for the unrest at his rallies and tell them to be nicer. Rubio and front-runner Donald Trump each got one.
Indeed, some protesters at Trump events are seen carrying Sanders’ campaign signs, but Sanders scoffed Sunday at the notion that he’s responsible.
Rubio suggested he’s considering backing off his pledge to support the Republican nominee if Trump wins the nomination.
Clinton now has 766 delegates to Bernie Sanders’ 551, based on primaries and caucuses alone.
Rubio compared Trump to third-world “strong men”, and said on CNN that the tone of the campaign “is really going to do damage to America”.
Trump appeared intent Saturday not to draw criticism for instigating any problems.

“It just makes all of our friends and supporters more angry”, he said, and predicted a “resounding victory” on Tuesday.
