Composed by Amit Trivedi, “Ikk Kudi” is a slow Punjabi song that directly touches the heart. Trailer is just a hint where film is the real content. After seeing the film, if people have the same thought then it is correct to justify.
When asked about her take, Alia told reporters, “All I want to say is we are here to talk about “Ikk Kudi“, munde ko aap ghar pe he chhodiye (leave the guy at home)”.
Can You Recognize Alia In These 10 Stills Of Udta Punjab?
Speaking about her character, Alia said: “If a character is angry or upset or distraught, Alia doesn’t have anything to do with it because it is the character”.
Alia plays a Bihari migrant in the film, which tackles the drug menace in Punjab. I trained for hockey before starting the film.
Alia said that as an actor she was just “pretending” to know how to play hockey, with the help of a coach and the students who got her to achieve the flawless body language. I did try, worked hard, wanted to be comfortable with the hockey stick, and bring out a certain ease which comes from the body language of hockey players.
Udta Punjab revolves around drug-related problems in Punjab. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Productions, it is set to release on June 17.
