I was joking about Russian Federation hacking Clinton
“I think you’ll be rewarded mightily by our press”. “This has gone from being a curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security”, [sic] the campaign said in an official statement.

The quote comes from Trump’s answer at a Fox Business debate, but he was responding to a question specifically on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
He was referring to emails on Clinton’s private email server that she deleted because she said they were private before she turned other messages over to the State Department. You look at that.
The brief statement from Brendan Buck comes as Democrats insinuated that Russian Federation hacked DNC emails, and Republican Donald Trump’s call for Russian Federation to infiltrate Hillary Clinton’s email an unprecedented suggestion to a foreign power to conduct cyberspying on a presidential candidate.
“It gives me no pause”, he said, “… “It was said with sarcasm”. I don’t know who has them.
Trump meanwhile said the Russian leader, who has been in power for 17 years as president or prime minister, had no respect for Clinton or Obama. “I feel, frankly, good about him”. I said he’s a better leader than Obama, because Obama’s not a leader, so he’s certainly doing a better job than Obama is, and that’s all. “It was more tongue-in-cheek, like we’ve been saying simply because that is the issue”, spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said, suggesting that the focus of the story should be in on the Democratic email hack itself.
Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, warned of “serious consequences” if Russian Federation interfered in the election. They think it is something we can worry about later. But Democrats aren’t likely to let the Republican presidential nominee’s extraordinary comments simply fade away.
He wouldn’t comment, though, if he’d answer to Putin with force.
“I will tell you this”.
Here’s something interesting. For the first time today, as I was calling around, I was hearing from people inside the intelligence community questioning whether briefing both candidates is the right thing to do. “You react at the time”, he said.
“Part of the problem with this country is they go and they say, we’re going to do this, we’re going to attack here, we’re going to send this many men – no, no”. And if it is Russian Federation – which it’s probably not, nobody knows who it is – but if it is Russian Federation, it’s really bad for a different reason, because it shows how little respect they have for our country, when they would hack into a major party and get everything.
On Putin – who has called Trump “bright” and whom Trump has praised as a strong leader – Trump said they’ve never spoken. John McCain was a war hero.
Peskov also denied what he said were reports that Trump’s foreign policy adviser Carter Page met with Putin’s chief of staff during a visit to Moscow earlier this month, but it wasn’t clear what reports he was referring to. I don’t know anything about him other than he will respect me.
Trump, Obama said, is the one casting the country in a negative light by campaigning on paranoia. He said his closest interaction with Russia was selling a Florida home to a Russian for more than he paid for it. I have no idea. “That’s why they do it”, Trump said.

The Clinton camp’s response to Trump’s call for foreign espionage against their campaign echoed the same sentiment as the slew of cybersecurity experts.
