I was wrong, Trump admits
Donald Trump backed off a false claim Friday morning, admitting he had not seen a video of a $400 million payment being unloaded from a USA plane in Iran.

In Daytona Beach, Florida on Wednesday, Donald Trump spoke in detail about seeing video of “money pouring off of a plane” in Iran, referring to the $400 million cash payment the USA sent to Tehran.
The article, the first to give a detailed account to the money transfer, pointed out that this settlement happened on the same day Iran freed four American prisoner, causing critics to accuse the administration of paying a ransom for their release.
Obama said that at the time his administration had explained that Iran had taken claims before an global tribunal and, because of litigation risks, the United States made a $1.7 billion settlement with the country to resolve a decades-old arms deal dispute following legal advice and suggestions.
The footage Trump referred to featured a plane, while the new video from the Iranian documentary shows only the pallets stacked with cash, according to Iranian state television.
A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign declined to comment on where Trump saw the video, the Huffington Post reported.
Pastor Saeed Abedini, one of four American hostages released from Iran earlier this year, revealed in an interview with FOX Business Network’s Trish Regan that he and his fellow prisoners had to wait for hours at the airport until a second plane arrived on orders from police.
The Republican presidential nominee finally admitted he was wrong in a tweet on Friday morning.
“It’s a military tape. Nobody getting nervous because they’re going to be shot because they’re shooting a picture of money pouring off a plane”. “We are going to go by the law, which is that, in both tradition and the law, that if somebody is the nominee. they need to get a security briefing so that if they were to win, they are not starting from scratch in terms of being prepared”, he said. “You saw that with the airplane coming in – nice plane – the airplane coming in and the money coming off, I guess”.
Pence also repeated Trump’s false claim that Hillary Clinton “actually initiated” the deal. The Iranians, Trump said, released the video “so that we will be embarrassed”. “And at the time, we explained that Iran had pressed a claim before an worldwide tribunal about them recovering money of theirs that we had frozen”, Mr Obama said. And at the time we explained that Iran had pressed a claim before an global tribunal about them recovering money of theirs that we had frozen; that, as a outcome of its working its way through the worldwide tribunal, it was the assessment of our lawyers that we were now at a point where there was significant litigation risk and we could end up costing ourselves billions of dollars.
The video originates from the site “Ansarclip.ir” and is believed to be an Iranian documentary aired after the USA prisoner release. “Maybe because it kind of feels like some kind of spy novel or you know crime novel because cash was exchanged”, he said. Trump is scheduled to campaign in Des Moines later this afternoon.

And while his captors didn’t talk about money-just the plane-Abedini answered in the affirmative as to whether they were “effectively waiting for the money to come in before they then let [him] take off”. They want to embarrass our country.
