Nationally, outbreaks of sleet and snow are expected to spread from the northwest on Saturday, initially into western Scotland, and then into parts of northwest England later in the day before reaching the Midlands and southern England during the evening and night.

The warning says it’s a “frontal zone” moving across the country which will hit cold air over the UK.
One the temperature goes below 2°C snow is possible, but not if there are clear skies, which are predicted for this evening.
Tomorrow will see a frosty start, with more snow and sleet forecast throughout the day.
MOTORISTS are being warned of potentially hazardous travel conditions with ice and snow forecast for the area over the weekend.
The warning covers Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough and Buckinghamshire.
As temperatures are likely to dip below freezing, ice is likely on untreated road surfaces, especially where they are left wet from rain.
A widespread frost will form overnight, locally sharp in the west, along with icy patches on untreated surfaces.
Travel Dorset were gritting additional routes during last night’s run and will be out again at 9am.
Public Health England bosses are warning people across the north west to be wary of severe conditions in the coming days, and have issued a “level 3” cold weather alert.
