Identification Expected Monday for Five Killed in California Plane Crash
Search crews found five bodies and the wreckage of a small airplane that went missing near Bakersfield, Calif. Saturday afternoon, the Federal Aviation Administration said Sunday.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board have begun an investigation, officials said.
Senior Deputy John Carpenter with the Kern County Sheriff’s Department said that at about 4:25 p.m., Kern County law enforcement received a call from LA Traffic Control that a mayday call from a single engine plane was broadcasted.
The victims were not immediately identified late Sunday, but they were believed to be from the Bay area, The Bakersfield Californianreported.
