Earlier on Thursday, Israeli police announced that it had arrested “youths belonging to a terror group” suspected of carrying out attacks on Palestinians over the past few days, and said there were “solid suspicions” linking them to the arson at the Dawabshehs’ home.
Violence continues as Palestinians allegedly stab Israeli soldiers before being shot dead.
“Israel’s policy of ignoring settler attacks against Palestinians and its unwillingness to investigate these attacks and hold perpetrators accountable signifies its complicity with these crimes”.
That incident took place near the village of Kfar Abud, between Ramallah and Nablus in the northern West Bank.
The attack comes a day after four were wounded in three separate attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Palestinian anger over the Duma attack has been a factor fuelling a wave of street assaults on Israelis that erupted on October 1.
The army also recommends allowing Palestinians to export directly from the West Bank to factories in Israel and to increase the number of permits given to Palestinians to work in Israel.
The officer said that if violence increases, it could spread anarchy throughout the West Bank.
The army said its forces fired at one man who entered its no-go zone close to the border fence but did not specify the type of fire. A Palestinian who works at a winery in Psagot (a Jewish settlement) said, “It is good working with Jews, and we have much better employment conditions here than in Ramallah [the de facto Palestinian capital]”.
The ongoing violent tension flared yesterday between Israel and the Palestinians, where two Palestinian young men were killed in the West Bank and two injured in the Gaza Strip, according to medics.
Donald Trump says that if he’s elected president, he’ll know within six months whether he can achieve an elusive peace accord between Israelis and Palestinians, one of the world’s most vexing challenges.
He then jumped out of his vehicle and attacked bystanders with an iron bar before being shot dead by police.
Israel says the current spate of violence is due to incitement by Palestinian leaders over the Jerusalem holy site as well as videos encouraging violence spread on social media.

The two-state solution envisions an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel, with the boundaries negotiated in talks between the parties.
