With movies, television shows, graphic novels and video games all under their belts, it was only a matter of time until the Ninja Turtles made their way to tabletop games.

Campaign supporters can choose between two versions of the game (both featuring exclusive boxes and content): the Kickstarter-exclusive box, and the “Works Edition”, which features four exclusive TMNT miniatures based on Kevin Eastman’s art style.

It’s not hard to see from this trailer that Out of the Shadows is essentially going to be an homage to the 1980’s cartoon, and in many ways that’s a great deal more exciting than the nonsense Michael Bay put out first time around.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3 is out on February 10th, priced $3.99.

As of writing this article, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past has made $257,204, which exceeds the initial goal of $250,000.
