If Ben Carson Didn’t Stab His Friend, Who Was It Then?
CNN mentioned that Carson’s campaign would not let reporters reach out to the people of Carson’s past. “I had nearly killed him”. So angry was the young Carson that he once tried to hit his mother with a hammer and once tried to stab a friend (apparently a relative). But, anyway, Chris Jansing and Ben Carson have this exchange here about being made fun of on Saturday Night Live.

“This is a bunch of lies, that is what it is”, Carson said on CNN’s “New Day” when Alisyn Camerota asked about the report by Scott Glover and Maeve Reston in which they spoke to people Carson grew up with.
RedState’s Jay Caruso Suggested Media Bias In CNN’s Reporting On Carson’s Book, Arguing That “We Still Don’t Have Obama’s Grades From College.” .
I keep imagining Ben Carson at the lectern, calmly and blandly insisting that he was the driver of the headlights-off vehicle that brutally murdered someone who flashed them. “It erupted out of nowhere and became so all-consuming that it posed a threat not only to me, but to those around me”.
Carson himself acknowledged in an interview with The New York Times that a scholarship offer from West Point military academy that he has discussed over the years was “informal”. If, instead, they find a lack of evidence, they should say so – provided the effort is thorough and made in good faith. And so that’s what we’re trying to confirm and figure out as we think about someone who wants to be president in the Oval Office, you know, at the nuclear controls.
But CNN said this wasn’t just a matter of pseudonymous sourcing.
Carson went on Fox News’s The Kelly File last night to respond, telling Megyn Kelly that the idea that he could have misrepresented his past was absurd and insulting, and that the person he tried to stab was a close relative who did not wish to come forward. “We went out to find these people in Detroit”. “We went through the yearbooks”. “We ought to take note of the fact that they’re fighting so many different factions, decide how we can work in a way that’s a disadvantage to them, knowing that they’re fighting all these different factions”. We found his close friends through every period of his life. At other times, Carson has called it a “stabbing incident”.
Carson, who frequently critiques the media, has called CNN’s investigation “silly”. But the Carson depicted in the candidate’s books isn’t the Carson they knew. Cornerstones of accomplishment are not created from outward impressions as former Carson school classmate Robert Collier stated, when he commented, “I remember him having a pocket saver”. It would have been all over the whole school. They describe him as meek, quiet, Reston said. So unless you were the victim of that temper, why would you know?

One road for said candidates involves answering any question asked of him or her. The question may be perceived as loaded, editorialized, even blatantly biased.
“Jerry shoved me”, he wrote. “I stumbled, and my temper flared”. I forgot the 20 pounds of muscle he had on me.
I see that lesson and that leadership from then Cadet Commander Ben Carson as the truth and the light of God’s hand not just on his life but on the countless babies saved and the millions of lives who have been influenced by Carson. I still had my lock in my hand, put a three inch gash in his forehead.
“I was ashamed”, he wrote. Christians didnt lose their temper like that.
CARSON: Well, why would you be able to find ’em? Trump has a promo saying that he just thinks that Ben Carson is a big loser. “Do you honest-are you honestly telling me that-because if you are, you might fit in that category”. “So unless you were the victim of that temper, why would you know?”

These are things that you guys ought to be talking about. He was kind of shy from what I recall and he was popular in a way that he was smart and everybody looked up to him and it just paid off in his life.
