If invited for GES, would try to stop by India: Obama
Mr. José Fernandes dos Santos says that his participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit will offer a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with other entrepreneurs while representing Angola at this prestigious global summit.

“We agreed that our economic and financial teams will remain in close contact as we stay focused on ensuring economic growth and financial stability”, Obama continued.
Mr. Obama said that he had spoken to both Mr. Cameron and Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, which will stand alone as the wealthiest and most powerful nation in the European Union once Britain leaves. They will be joining more than 700 entrepreneurs from around the world along with investors and business leaders to exchange ideas and best practices for how to start and grow their businesses, said a USA embassy statement on Monday.
“You deserve the same chance to succeed as everybody else”, he said.
It emphasised that Nigerians submitted approximately 420 applications-the most from any country-for this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
Outside Stanford’s Memorial Auditorium, before Obama was set to address the summit, a handful of protesters gathered under the university’s landmark Hoover Tower to decry the U.S. Supreme Court’s immigration ruling and demand President Obama do something about it. “Tools and connectivity I think are big net positives for the world but we need to make sure that entrepreneurs are taking advantage of these opportunities and creating more value for everyone in the world”.
“We are expecting a number of foreign governments to participate, and the manner in which the governments are participating is that they are making commitments in their own countries to support entrepreneurs, and then that brings them into the fold of the GES process”.
After meeting Obama at the White House early this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that India would host the next GES.
Obama is the first American president to visit India twice. “They are now leaving”, said Norwegian tech entrepreneur”, said Lars Kintel, a Norweigan tech entrepreneur. Some have become self-radicalized, including a man who killed 49 people and wounded 53 at a gay nightclub in Orlando earlier this month, and a married couple who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California previous year.

Obama also hosted a panel discussion with three entrepreneurs from Egypt, Rwanda and Peru along with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
