Aged 43, Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) is struggling with the trials of life.

Renée Zellweger has opened up about filming Bridget Jones’s Baby, saying that she missed working with Hugh Grant who does not reprise his role as Daniel Cleaver. Fast forward a month and Bridget finds herself pregnant but is unsure of which man is the father. As Bridget Jones discovers her own kind of zen, it makes for a third instalment that proves to be v.v. satisfying.

Meanwhile, Maguire said that it was very hard for Bridget to choose between Mark and Jack because they are both “kind of nice guys”.

On Thursday the Bridget Jones’s Baby stars stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden and talked about some of their amusing first jobs.

There is still a madcap, slapstick jitteriness to dear Bridget, but calmness has emerged, too.

Audiences are left wondering: Isn’t Mark Darcy the ideal father of Bridget Jones’ baby? Which means… They sleep together.

In 1996, Helen Fielding introduced the world to a frumpy, single workingwoman from England in the bestselling novel, Bridget Jones’s Diary.

She also has one big new problem this time around.

Just as Bridget Jones’s Baby presents Mark as a good father, it also portrays Jack as an ideal parent.

In the 123-minute movie, Mark Darcy leaves Bridget Jones.

Dempsey and Firth are attractive rivals for Bridget’s brittle affections and the script keeps us guessing as long as possible about the course of true love. But a week later, she also sleeps with Mark. However, I did work with some dialect people. What separates those huge disappointments with Bridget Jones’s Baby is the injection of freshness, whether a new idea or a fresh perspective on the material while still maintaining the themes and characters, and not taking its audiences for granted that they want exactly the same thing over and over again. In other words: They have history. It instantly reminds you how much you relish her undeterred optimism, her ingratiating clumsiness, her charming penchant for self-deprecation and her knack for always saying the worst thing at the right time.

This fairytale ending for Bridget should certainly make long-term fans of the series happy.

Bridget Jones stands on her own far more in this film than the previous two, with most of the supporting characters-from best friend Miranda (Sarah Solemani) to Darcy and Qwant-simply along for well-timed banter or convenient plot devices.

Unlike other pregnancy/romantic comedies, “Bridget Jones’s Baby” actually comes up with original and very amusing jokes.
