If We Can’t Catch Chelsea, Nobody Can – Arsene Wenger

“I’ve never heard him say that”, said the former England forward.

Wenger was speaking with the media ahead of this weekend’s clash at Emirates against Hull City.

Arsenal host Hull City in a crunch tie that may have more significance for Arsene Wenger’s side than the Tigers.

Managing one of the most ruthlessly relentless teams in world football, Juventus manager Massimo Allegri has picked up 33% of Arsenal fan’s votes.

“Maybe it is time to change something at the end of the season”.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who is spending the season on loan at Bournemouth, has yet to sign a new deal with his parent club with his contract set to expire in 2018.

Wenger has been the Arsenal manager since October 1996 and led the club to three Premier League titles but the last one came way back in 2004.

“What I feel for Arsenal is true and (I have felt it) for a long time”.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says he apologised to Arsene Wenger after his Twitter accident following Arsenal’s defeat to Chelsea. “But it’s just a dream, how could I be pretentious enough to think they’ll have me?”

“You can not be a fan until last Tuesday and not be a fan anymore and not be behind the team this Saturday, it doesn’t make sense”, he said.

“On top of that, I think we made some tactical mistakes, especially for the first goal and on top of that, we were unlucky as the goal was a scandalous goal”.

Arsenal appeared to be more focused on a title tilt until damaging defeats by Watford and Chelsea left them just a point above fifth-placed Liverpool. “Wenger said that had he lost the FA Cup final in 2014, when they were 2-0 down against Hull, then he would have gone”.

Arsenal’s season is at risk of coming to another dissatisfactory ending and once again Gunners fans could be about to publicly express their disinterest.

Fans are hoping that Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will now follow suit, but Ozil was reportedly quoted as saying that his future at Arsenal depends on Wenger staying.
