Ifedi questionable, Jimmy Graham to play against Dolphins

Seahawks right guard Germain Ifedi is listed as questionable to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

This is the third significant ankle injury suffered by a Seahawks rookie so far, with defensive tackle Jarran Reed missing time during the preseason (Reed is set to return on Sunday) and tight end Nick Vannett now out with a high ankle sprain of his own. With his playing status in doubt, it could force the Seahawks to reshuffle their starting line just days before having to face Ndamukong Suh and the Dolphins’ strong front. Practice reports don’t specify the severity of whatever issue the given player is dealing with, so more information on Rawls and Ifedi won’t be available until coach Pete Carroll speaks with the media on Friday. The likely replacement is tackle J’Marcus Webb, who has played at guard during his career.

Also of note is that tight end Jimmy Graham was a full participant once again, another indication that he will be able to play Sunday for the first time since suffering a patella tendon injury last November 29 against the Steelers.

“He had a great last few weeks”.

There was also a new name on the list – running back Thomas Rawls – who did not participate due to an illness. “I know that he went in, they took him in for a minute, but I didn’t see because I was down at the other end at another drill”.
