Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has warned Bayern Munich they can expect to receive the same treatment handed out to Manchester United when they come to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

Arsenal brushed past championship rivals Manchester United 3-0 in their last game before their global break, leaving the Red Devils stunned after just 30 minutes. We have to put pace into this game.

Although Arsenal ended up scoring 3 goals, it was the play of center back Laurent Koscielny that was the key to victory for the Gunners.

“But sometimes it is easier to start the game and take the players off than when you go into the game a little bit exhausted because you go with the game so I made a decision to go for that”.

“I don’t know yet [whether I will make changes] but there’s no obvious reason to change the team completely”.

“I think in the first 20 minutes we were not in full power, not in full commitment and we understood that we had to give more. We will see what happens and a positive result would send out a signal to the other teams that they should be careful of Watford”. We play against a big team but we know we have proved ourselves in bad positions in the Champions League.

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores will go head-to-head with the Frenchman for the first time today.

“We believe that part of the responsibility of the players and the staff is to take care of team spirit”. Gabriel is expected to be back in the squad for the game against Bayern, and Wenger will face a hard decision about which two of his three senior centre-backs will comprise his starting pair for the European showpiece.

Wenger says he did not intend to play the 26-year-old, who has scored seven goals in his last four appearances for the Gunners.

While the Gunners have been struggling in Europe and could even be on course to get knocked out of the Champions League before making it through to the knockout stages, they have been in excellent form domestically and now lie just two points off the summit.
