IL delegates agree with Wasserman Schultz resignation

Bernie Sanders tried to calm tensions among his delegates Monday at the Democratic National Convention but some weren’t in a listening mood, seething over a lengthy primary campaign and a damaging email disclosure.

If only Wasserman Schultz was as popular as McKinnon’s impression of her. She won a majority of both pledged delegates and so-called “super-delegates” to the convention after winning a majority of primaries and caucuses.

“Are we a nation that kicks out a striving, hopeful immigrant like Astrid, or are we a nation that finds a way to welcome her in?” The latest news is that her disgrace is so complete, she will no longer even appear at the Convention.
