The paper said the images offered included some of the royal children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as wedding dresses and parties, the seller wanting to sell in the U.S. because of United Kingdom privacy laws.

In a story published by The Independent regarding the hack, the report states that Middleton’s lawyers have confirmed her iCloud account to have been accessed unlawfully.

Police are investigating the hacking of an iCloud account belonging to Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge.

The photos, which also reportedly included naked pictures of Middleton’s fiance, James Matthews, were taken from Middleton’s Apple iCloud account, according to a person trying to sell them to media organisations. The seller described the content of the images as featuring wedding dresses, parties, the royal family ‘& pretty much everything in between’.

Known only as “mas”, the seller said: ‘Due to current climate on privacy laws in the UK I’m intending a quick USA sale but would at least give you a heads-up’. “This is obviously a vast source of info and pictures that I neither want nor intend to keep in my possession very long”.
