Images of Samsung’s Next Fitness Tracker Draw Gear S2 Comparisons
The design looks a bit like the sports variant of the Galaxy Gear S2 so most likely, it will be a fitness focused device and hopefully, there will be a heart-rate sensor to go along with it.

Images have leaked of Samsung’s next major fitness tracking device-or rather, pair of devices. As you can see from the photos, the upcoming wearable looks a lot like the Gear S2 smartwatch, although based on previous rumors, the device is said to be more of a fitness tracker. It will be powered by Tizen and it is expected to share some features of the Gear S2, such as a circular display and a rotating bezel that will be used to control the device. The images not only reveal a circular dial, the design of the wearable is also reminiscent of the Gear S2.
It looks like the Gear S2 might be getting a little brother.
After Xiaomi’s Mi Fitness band sold in millions, it’s been reported that Samsung is also planning to unveil a wearable to compete in the budget segment.
The company has been making progress in the field of heath and technology, and it recently showed off a Bio Processor chipset at this year’s CES at Las Vegas. Either this will be packaged together with the SM-R150 or it will be a separate purchase.

It is not known when the alleged wearable from Samsung will see the light of day. The activity tracker will also support biometrics and interestingly, as the image below reveals, the SM-R150 can be attached to the chest. Even the $16 Mi Band 1S fitness tracker comes with a heart rate monitor.
