According to sources, a man walked over to the men and allegedly shot them both. “Killing people brutally, like they’re an animal”.
Before the opening of an investigation into the crime, the police were quick to state that the attack “was not” a hate crime. The other is in critical condition.
“All of a sudden I heard five shots”, said a witness, “I knew it wasn’t firecrackers”.
Police did not immediately identify the victims or say which man was confirmed dead. Uddin described them as good, pious people. The shooter is described as “tall and dark-skinned, carrying a large handgun, and wearing a dark blue shirt and short trousers”.
